The Art of Work initiative created by The Students Commission of Canada (SCC) assists youth to transition successfully from the education system into a financially secure adulthood through a progressive series of skill-building programs, work-integrated learning and graduated employment experiences.
The Art of Work initiative is part of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) program, which assists youth in navigating the labor market and in successfully transitioning into sustained employment. These objectives are attained by supporting the needs of all youth, especially youth facing barriers to develop skills, knowledge and networks, through education, skills development and meaningful work experiences.
